3. A game from Richard Blackwell, whose win was an important contribution to Knights' draw against Cheddleton A. As Richard told me - "I was under 'the cosh' for a number of moves until his attack broke down, the tide turned and fortune went my way - phew!! I think he became too confident in his attack and was not best pleased with the result!"

4. Pat Bennett v Ruth Sheldon at the 4NCL competition on December 4th, 2005. This was on Board 3 of the match between Cheddleton and Pride & Prejudice in Division 4 - Cheddleton lost by 4-2, unsurprisingly as we were outgraded everywhere. P&P included Grandmaster Aaron Summerscale on Board 1, Harriet Hunt and Cathy Forbes. Google will tell you about them.
