I was concerned about the KP endgame after 38 RxR KxR 39. Ne5+ Ke6 40 NxB KxN, but looking at it later, I think it's OK for Black. I'm in trouble now. 38. Ne3 Rh5 39. Ng4 Kf8 40. Rxa7 d4 41. Rc7 Bd3 42. a4 Rg5 43. Nf6 c4 Crucially important, to prevent white from having united passed pawns marching down the queen side. 44. bxc4 Rxg2 45. Nxh7+ Kg8 46. Nf6+ Kf8 47. Nh7+ Kg8 48. Nf6+ Kf8 Repetition to gain time on the clock. 49. Rd7 I was pleased to see this move, as I had calculated that I could draw from this position. 49. h4 retained some winning chances. 49... Re2+ 50.
